If the receiver wires are too long, shorten them.Carefully place everything you need in the printed frame.Note: You can skip this step for now because alignment is key for the self righter to work.Cut the hinged section of Witch Doctor V3's ribs off and glue it to the self righting arm.Mount the self righter arm onto the servo.Solder the servo to SawBlaze's circuit board.If you desolder the wrong motor, your self righter will not work. This is why you needed to mark SawBlaze's lifter motor earlier.Desolder SawBlaze's lifting arm from the circuit board.Put the motor back in and close up the servo.The servo's gears will strip if you don't add the resistor.Replace the servo's potentiometer with a 10 Ohm resistor.An alternate method is to desolder the motor from the circuit board and replace it completely with SawBlaze's arm motor, but it's VERY risky.Remove the gear from the servo's motor and replace it with the one from SawBlaze's arm motor.Unscrew the four tiny philips head screws on the back of the servo.Modify the 9g servo for continuous rotation.They are tiny and a nuclear pain to find if you happen to drop them. Remove the drive wheels and the entire gear train except for the ones mounted directly on the motors.Undo the screws and carefully remove the clear plastic top panel.Remove the stock panels from the Witch Doctor V3.Paint the purple section of the rear wheels green while you have the chance.Note: You want the wheel and pin separated from the connector piece for later.Pry out the rear wheels of the Witch Doctor V1 with a set of pliers.Note: Mark the motor that drove SawBlaze's arm with a Sharpie or something else that makes it stick out from the rest of the motors because this motor is being replaced later.Gently remove the entire circuit board and the electronics along with the power button.Disassemble the SawBlaze arm and remove the motor.Store the harvested screws in a magnetic container.Note: The middle wedge of the Hexbug SawBlaze is attached to this top section, so if you leave that in, you can use that as a grabbing point to remove the top.Undo the bottom screws and carefully pull out the top section.If you accidentally make the slots too large, the axle will fall out of alignment and completely screw over your drive train.
